Directions: 

From A12 (Hatfield Peverel)

From the village of Hatfield Peverel turn into Station Road. Travel along passing Hatfield Peverel Station to the right. Continue onto Terling Road. Continue onto Hatfield Road, continuing onto New Road. At the T-Junction turn right onto Owls Hill. Continue through village onto Braintree Road. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles into Fuller Street. Pub is on the right.

From A120 (Braintree)

Follow signs for A131 to Chelmsford City Racecourse (CCR). Travel along A131 passing CCR to the right. At the roundabout turn left and then sharp right into Main Road, Great Leighs. Travel along and turn left into Boreham Road, opposite the Post Office & Village Store. Travel along passing Mill Lane on the left. Take the next left signposted to Fuller Street/Terling. Follow this lane and The Square and Compasses is on the left when entering the village.

From A130 (Beaulieu)

Travel along Essex Regiment Way (A131) passing Chelmer Valley Park and Ride. Turn right, A131/A120 towards Sudbury and Braintree Freeport. At Deres Bridge junction turn right and follow sign to Great Leighs. When entering Great Leighs Village turn right onto Boreham Road. Travel along passing Mill Lane on the left. Take the next left signposted to Fuller Street/Terling. Follow this lane and The Square and Compasses is on the left when entering the village.
